Thread: Teachers Group?

Is there a Teacher's Group on Bhuz? How do I join? Is it very active?

There is - you just have to PM Beafarhana and she'll send to an invite.

It's no terribly active, I think because people forget it's there. There's no email notification if a new thread is posted, although I one point I think Rosey was going to look into that. That said, I've had a couple of situations where posting in the Teacher's group resulted in extremely helpful responses.

There is not much activity in the groups on bhuz, at least not the ones I belong to. I believe the navigation probably is confusing to people, it's not so handy to get to them.

Anyway there's a yahoo group for teachers & troupe directors that I host, please contact me if you're interested in joining that one:

Wow, I guess I figured out how to navigate to it here on Bhuz, but that was confusing! I went to my personal profile, scrolled down to My Groups, hit See All My Groups, then clicked on the Teachers Group. I still wasn't in, I had to click again on a topic.

Too bad it's so difficult! Or am I missing something?

You can also navigate from any page by using the "Hafla" drop-down menu item, where you can pick "Groups" and then to "See my groups"

Oh, that's good to know! That seems easier.

Hmm, I thought I was in the group (very true that I forget it is there!) but in trying to get to it, I've discovered I'm not in it after all?

Faaria- I sent you an invitation, way back, whenever you first asked me about it, and I can't send another (sent you the wrong one by mistake!) so if you navigate to the group, it should let you in. I think you have to tell it at that point that you wish to join the group.

May I please join also? When the group was first set up Mac/Safari users couldn't access the group post/pm function so I didn't bother but it appears that bug has been fixed now.
