Thread: Another troupe song reccomendation needed

I have the hardest time picking out short and simple belly dance songs for my student troupe. This time my students have specifically asked for a classical Egyptian piece. Any thoughts? I'd like it to be around 3:30. I can cut if needed. Thanks in advance!

Check out Vaha Bit by G-Night. Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but it's a shortened version of that song Warda from Bellydance Superstars Vol. I. It's about 3 minutes long, and it's on iTunes.

zeina is always a good one & there are several short versions floating around. I'm partial to Ashraf Zakaria's version.

I'm using "Salaam Allay" by Kairo by Night. It is 3:46, very repetative and very fun. Can't wait till my students perform in January! :)

check out the belly dancing fame and fortune cd as well... tons of short pieces... The el samer version is levss than 2...

I recommend Farha from A gift from Cairo cd. Its very short and very cute. YouTube - Matar this is an example of the song. Or you could use emsafer from one of the BDSS cds. another cute simple song
