Thread: Bellydance Themed Word Find for Students

I wanted to add something interactive to my intro class packet, so I made a word find with a bunch of terms related to the dance... hoping its a subtle way to open up new students to the idea that there's more going on then we may get to in class (and provide an opening for some of the dialog) ..g.:

Anyway, I thought I'd share and get some feedback before it went out to the students. Anyone want to relax with a word find?

I love find a word puzzles. Are all those words in that one puzzle????

You're missing a whole section on Bhuzzisms: such great terms as crassel, suzynippletassels, skinmizmar, wwbd, and my favorite, CRAPTACULAR!

I'll have to do another one just for bhuzzisms! ..l;, That'll take a whole puzzle by itself!

i'm currently doing it (been at it for 2-3 days, spend a couple minutes at it when i have time to wait or something)
is it possible that there are a couple mistakes in it? as in, Oum Kalthoum is spelled Osm K.. in the puzzle; and i've found Schekhatt in the puzzle instead of Schikhatt as it's spelled on the side...
not done yet, still about 10 words to find ^^

I think you are absolutely correct about those! Thank you! Now, to figure out what word I may have inserted there to change those letters.... ..c:: Hopefully it'll be easy fixes, right?! .w.:..g.:

if you want, i'm doing this in Paint - i can email you the pic when i'm done, i put the 'errors' in another color. if that helps ;)

What a nice idea!

However, 'Nadwa Fouad' should be Najwa or Nagwa (depending if you pronounce in Egyptian or standard Arabic dialect).
Also 'Raqs sharki' should be spelled as Raqs Sharqi as the letter qaf is in both words.
