Thread: Turkish Oriyentale Coreography Workshop...in Las Vegas

I know Samira has been posting for Las Vegas Belly Dance Intensive, I will be part of this great event this year and teaching Turkish Orientale workshop including finger cymbals, Turkish drop, floorwork, Romani exit.
the workshop is only 1.5 hour and I am currently editing the music (it will be a mixture of possibly 3 songs ;)

I will be starting teaching a lot of Turkish Oriyantal/Romani along with my other styles as well this year. You may find me in one of the cities closed to you hopefully...:)

Any upcoming events in the North-East? I know we're spoiled here, having Artemis and Folk Tours in driving distance (YEAY!!!!), but there is never enough Turkish ;-)

Steffib...I dont have anything for NE right now. I know you have amazing dancers/teachers in your area. If anyone you know would be interested in workshop/show we can discuss the details. I am planning to go to NY later this year but maybe before or after I go to Turkey around October if not earlier.
However I have many other projects until about Las Vegas Belly Dance Intensive. I dance with Arabina Dance Company and we have few competitions and shows upcoming I cannot leave anywhere yet.

ok Seattle can come first...I only met Dahlia from there I think, and I know Renee Drelishak from my Suhaila training...if you could give me some names i can contact for workshops sponsorship that would be awesome...I am pretty booked until about hmmmm October or November I think though.

I know that Dahlia and Renee both sponsor workshops but Renee just had a baby. Contact Delilah at Visionary Dance (Visionary Belly Dance | Discover the Art of Bellydancing | Seattle, WA USA) Dahlia teaches at her studio and she does a lot of great events. Middle Eastern Arts International (Promoting excellence in Middle East-inspired Dance and Music) would be another good group to contact.
