I'm sooo excited - I got to take a workshop with him at the very first Tribal Fest and he was awesome. I'm looking forward to seeing how it compares being a more advanced dancer this time than the first time.

I'm so bummed because I have a gig that weekend, and I SOOOOOOOOO wanted to go to that :(

He's the awesome. Have SO MUCH FUN!!!!! You're learning the cymbal dance to Shashkin, I think. That's fun and when you do finally learn it, you'll feel like a master ziller :)

I took the Cymbal dance workshop years ago - but I can only afford to go to one of the workshops - so I think I'll go to the Saturday one on Old World Beledi. I wish I didn't have to choose one over the other - at least the Saturday show is free! Whoohooo!

I wish they would switch the two days. I would come up for Sunday's if it wasn't the cymbal dance (I learned it ages ago too. In Dayton, I think.)

wow! This is the first I've heard of it too! Too bad I have friends staying with me next weekend, otherwise, I'd be there in a heartbeat!
