Thread: What is a classic example of...?

I am trying to compile a list for students, of classic music pieces for each bellydance style and youtube examples of each style being danced. I am getting kind of swamped and confused with my own personal favorites, so I thought I'd reach out and do a bhuz survey. So...what do you consider a classic piece and/or performance that captures the essence of a particular style? Thanks to all.

Just off the top of my head:

Luxor Baladna just SCREAMS Raks Assaya to me.

Banat Baharei is the classic Meleya Leff song for me.
