Thread: Resources for Teachers?

I've got a thread going on OD about resources for teachers, and I want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

If you teach ballet you have tons of books and dvds to help you create syllabi, learn to teach movement, etc. If you teach bellydance, you don't have much.

I found a few books on Amazon, and a couple of learn-to-teach-online programs.
Am I missing any obvious sources? Or can you recommend books/cds/videos on teaching dance IN GENERAL that might be applied to our dance form? Maybe books about teaching adults? Different learning styles and such?

I appreciate that you're concerned mainly with specifically BD resources, but I've often found that Ballet/General Dance resources can be very useful, as a cross-pollination of ideas.

I notice that you're missing links for Riskallah Riyad on your OD list. Dates for upcoming teacher training workshops are posted on this page on her website and she has a description of the content of her teacher training on this page.

I haven't taken her course, but it's been highly recommended to me by a dancer who has.
