Have any of you taught a 'for credit' University level Belly Dance class? Would you be willing to share your Syllabus and teaching resources with me?

I was just hired to teach Winter and Spring quarters as a sub instructor for at a local University. The regular instructor is traveling out of the country for 6 months. I'm working off of her syllabus and am very familiar with how she structured the format of the class. I also have my own syllabus form where I taught before as well, I haven't taught off that syllabus in over two years and am looking for some fresh fun ideas! Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I was told by the dean that I could streamline the information taught in my class any way I wanted to, as long as it had an academic element to the class and the dance technique taught to the students worked for all levels. I also have to have tests and a final for the class as well. I definately plan on teaching weekly lessons about the cultural aspects of the dance. Half of the students are dance majors and the other half are students looking to fulfill their PE credit requirement AND its a 6 week class, each class is 2 hours long.

Thanks so much!
