For years I have been thinking about volunteering in a community outreach program and I am finally ready to commit to this idea. I want to offer a beginner belly dance class to a popluation that can not afford classes and I'm looking at local groups in my area that are involved with outreach programs.

Have you ever worked with outreach programs, offering dance classes or other services? What group did you work with? What things should I consider and what questions should I ask as I expolore this?
