    FAQ: for instructors & teachers

    Hey all,
Sorry if this is a repeat but I searched forums with no avail!
Do you have a FAQ page on your website or handout for class? Im going to create on for my site and was curious what you would add or what are some questions you get asked often?
I know Tamra Henna in TX has an a great one! www.tamrahennatx.com
    Ideas?!
    xoxo,

Yes, I have a FAQ page here: Elgin Belly Dance Studio: Eastern Groove

Not sure how many students use, it, but I link to it in a few other places on my site and I have referred students to it before.

I have a set of handouts I give to the new beginners & even some of the intermediate dancers if they don't have much background info...

If I ever get my website past being a splash page, I'll have the info up there as well

In my quest to be "greener", reduce my carbon footprint etc AND since often times print outs get left on the floor I retrive my students emails and send them a private website for thier class that has links to thier handouts, information on the dance, shopping, choreography notes, music downloads, translations, etc. That way THEY can print them out if they so chose and Im not wasting anything but digital space! :-)

I want to add the FAQs to my site AND the info I give first time students!

Re: FAQ: for instructors & teachers

Currently, my student info site is very plain -- words only, but it gets the job done, if the job is to disseminate info. Home Page

The "classes" page on the website lists session dates and briefly describes the class levels; it also includes what to wear/bring. The "class prerequisites" page lists movements with which students should be familiar should they wish to enroll in intermediate class.

In addition to the website, I give a postcard-size handout to my students with the session dates, reminders about what to wear, my contact info, and an occasional other note on it.

Someday, my student site will be prettier and more interesting to look at!
