Thanks for taking the time to respond. I have received some interesting feedback and have decided to approach this from a different angle, with the intention of putting together the workshop in the long run.

Hurrah! I think this training is absolutely necessary.

I'd love to see more "levels" in the average dance, across many experience/training ranks. By level, I mean primarily tempo and mood, though literal vertical levels can also help. I see a lot of dancers use one speed throughout their dance, and even if they've learned to keep their head level and still (!), it stays in one vertical plane throughout (there is no sway, no shifts low or high, just flat). There's a rush through (often choreography), whereas a bit more time could be used for expression of myriad conversational emotions instead of just planned body movements.

It's like having a conversation in a monotone. Either slow or fast, it's not engaging.

I think this is crucial particularly for beginners, because what you're saying may be more interesting than how you're saying it (technique, which they're just grasping). Being able to change the speed and find the spaces in the music would be enormously beneficial for many dancers.
