I'm thrilled to confirm that Princess Farhana will be teaching workshops
in Croydon on Saturday 15th March. Don't miss out - they will probably
be her only UK workshops this year and we expect them to sell out fast!

She's in London to attend the World Premiere of her film, Underbelly.
The premiere will be in London on the 19th March. Details are in the
attached flyer and at Steve Balderson's UNDERBELLY: News
Zaghareet Magazine called it 'gutsy and honest' and said: 'you'll
definitely want to see this movie.' Don't miss it!

Cool, Creative Combinations
These sizzling combinations will enhance any type of bellydance
performance and can be used in improvisation or choreographed
situations. The combinations might look complicated, but are broken down
into clear, easy-to-follow segments. We will run the gamut from
stationary gooey moves to cute traveling steps, turns, level changes,
sassy pop moves and cool Tribal combos, complete with footwork, hand and
arm embellishments and use of pace. We will also explore adding shimmy
layers and spicing the moves up with level, speed and directional changes.

Saturday 2.30pm-5pm £28
Beginners Burlesque
It's time to strut like a show girl and learn to tease a la Gypsy Rose
Lee in the retro-burlesque style! Techniques covered include cute
entrances and exits, showgirl walks, boa work, bumps and grinds. Plus
basic striptease mechanics and a short retro-burlesque routine, just for
fun. We'll also learn about the Burlesque/Bellydance connections, the
legendary stars of burlesque and burlesque history from the turn of the
century to modern times.
Bring high heels, a brassiere, some undies a pair of gloves, plus a
feather boa (or a scarf or veil tied at each end to act as a boa) Don't
worry - you WON'T be taking your clothes off - we do it all over our
class gear. So wear clothing you can put your undies over such as fitted
leggings/Tshirt or shorts/fishnet tights.

An update - the Burlesque workshop is now full. It sold out in a week! but I'm repeating it on the following day, Sunday 16th March. I just have to confirm times with the venue.
