Iana started to learn the dance art at the children's dance studio afflicted to Ukrainian State Folk Dance Ensemble Virsky at the age of four, then studied at the State Choreography School for almost 5 years.
Iana's training in the Middle-Eastern dances started in 2004. Since then she has attended numerous festivals and different workshops of world known dance masters. Also, Iana danced as soloist at the prestigious oriental dance ensemble "Ishtar Dance Co" for three years. In 2009 she became an absolute champion among the youth in Ukraine at oriental dance championship "Bastet" and in 2010 won the second place as a professional in show-bellydance nomination at "Oriental Spectacle" competition.
