Founder of Ya Habibi School of Middle Eastern dance, Jameelah Sultan is an oriental dance instructor, choreographer,*performer*and event organiser*based in Malta. Her repertoire ranges from Classical Egyptian, Modern Oriental (Cairo style), Folkloric Egyptian (Saiidi, Shaabi, Eskandarany, Baladi, Ghaweeze, Raqs Assaya, Muwashahat, Nubian) and AmCab; however she has also been trained in Spanish Fusion, American Tribal Style and Tribal Fusion. She is versatile with various props including Sagat, veil, double veil, isis wings and assaya. As an oriental dancer she has performed in Malta, Sweden (as part of Chicago’s Fringe Benefits International troupe) and Cairo, Egypt.

Jameelah is available for booking as a solo act or together with her troupe, the "Ya Habibi - oriental & folklore ensemble".
