    Sword and Candle choreography

    Hey everyone,

I just wanted to post a short excerpt from the new instructional dvd from the Choreography Project for Middle Eastern Dance 2006 Competition. The winning choreography was performed by the Isis Performing Company and was choreographed by the troupe members themselves.

    Check it out at http://www.medancecertification.org/scesm.mov

I think this dance shows an evolution to more complex choreographies. I hope you like it!

    Take care, Rick Fink

It's nice and well-executed but I can't say it impresses me as being "evolved" or particularly complex choreography.

    Hi Kimahri,

What I found impressive is that when the line of dancers holding the swords transited from the back to the front and formed two lines they actually wove in and out from each other.

    Take care, Rick
