Over 60 pages of full colour A4 format. This is not a hard back book and is in magazine format to keep costs low an make the book available to as many people as possible.
It is neither a definitive tome of academic research nor a grown up picture book but should be useful to any dancer or teacher looking at costuming both past and present. I have looked at costumes from the Ghawazee to the present day with written reasearch and illustrations. There are articles from other dancers and work on tribal as well as Egyptian and Turkish. No folkloric. A large chapter on male costuming and one on Goth
