Look guys, Bahaia just finished filming three instructional DVDs with Michelle Joyce, and Michelle already has trailers for two of them up on youtube!

I hear she's shooting for a December release date. I'm personally going to recommend them to all my students! Michelle, is there a way to pre-order them, or do we have to wait???????

I know! I saw that last night and really got excited about her doing videos! Yeay!

oh my god, she looks so cute! I did sponsor a workshop with her once and just love the way she breaks things down.

Her material in the workshop was, for lack of a better word "profound"....it seems so simple until you dig in to what she's saying and then you realize the concept is deeper than it seems at first glance. I guess that is a parallel to the golden age style in general now that I think of it, kind of funny, eh!

Wow!! That list of topics she covers in Combin-ography is almost exactly my outline for my solo skills class (6-week session).

Except...you know...she's Bahaia and I'm not.

I can't wait to get that one.

reminds me of samia gamal and tahiyya karioka in some movements, seriously.. she s got that style to me :)

wow - these are both great! I cannot wait. I watch every dvd I sell and I am hooked on cheekie girl production dvds. They really are unique and great tools for dancers....

ya the third one is a drum solo dvd, michelle said it on her tribe.
there are two by nanna candelaria to come - one veil instruction, the second drum solo.

plus Secrets of the Stage Vol 3 has a trailer already:

Soooo excited about this!

After admiring her on video for ages, I finally got to see Bahaia dance live at the Orit weekend in Orlando. She was all the fabulousness you would expect -- the ideal mix of strong and sharp and gooey and dramatic and understated and elegant and musical. Just breathtaking.

And then of course I was too much the starstruck fangirl to introduce myself and tell her so. (It was a pretty high-wattage weekend and yeah, I'm a dork.) So if you're reading this, Miz B:

These look wonderful! I've sent these to my friends as well. Shoshanna's performance in the trailer for secrets of the stage gave me chills!

Bahaia is one of my FAVORITE dancers! I'm so excited about these - they're going to be great!

Glad to see all your interest and comments - even the corny ones! I have to admit, I'm a total dance dork and usually turn into a total geek around my favorite dancers. Well... not so much a geek as super-shy. And those who know me know that shy is not a standard of my MO!

Michelle and I are aiming for a release date of late-November. You'll be able to purchase the DVD's directly from either of us on our websites - just in time for the holidays. We do plan on offering a pre-order price special very soon... keep your eyes open for more details on that!

p.s. I ve come across you through Michelle s series only - now judging from your many fans in the US this might sound like an insult, like me not havin known you before, really, I do not know that many dancers.
