Thread: Randa Kamel DVD - does anyone have this?

Does anybody happen to have the DVD titled Bellydance: Eastern Spirit? It appears to feature dancing by Randa Kamel. Can anyone offer an opinion on it or describe what it contains?

(FYI, although this vendor is in the UK and I'm in the US, I've ordered many times from them, paying via PayPal, and always had excellent results.)

I haven't watched it myself, but it's not Randa Kamal. Must be some other Randa.

The cover shows what is most definately the head of Randa Kamal although the body is wearing a very Turkish looking bedlah and I should have guessed this was not her style. On the back on the DVD label the dancer is most definately not Randa Kamal though her name may be Randa.
As DVDs go. it's not bad good vision and sound quality and a reasonably good and very pretty dancer who looks more like Liz Hurley than Randa Kamal. I suspect she is German or Turkish although the dance style is definately Egyptian. The music is all well known tunes, a pleasure to listen to and the costumes the dancer wears are very nice indeed not at all like the very "trad" Turkish bedlah on the cover ( I'm not saying that's not nice...it is as they go) .
I have an added problem in that the DVD will only play on my computer and I have bought VCDs in Turkey which play OK on my player.
I have contacted seller but am not whinging unduly as it was not a lot of Euros!
Just wanted to warn anyone who thought they might get Randa Kamal all to themselves and also I think it a shame that the girl who really is the subject of the DVD is not credited. Love Kadife

It doesn't even look like Randa's face to me. And it doesn't say Kamel anywhere.

Its a woman called Randa...not Randa Kamel herself...the quality of the DVD is not very good...its a performance DVD to various songs which I am sure are from the CD Best of Gobek Danslari 2

You can buy it much cheaper on Ebay than that...like £3.99
