Thread: designer pros & cons?

most of my costume closet is abla, eman, and raqia, one of the ablas MAY be a noussa, since she did do alot of similar designs right before mme. abla died....i love noussa, cuz since she came from abla's family, the craftsmanship and styling is exquisite.....LOVE eman and raqia, mine are excellent quality and fit really well, i own one bella, and love it, tho the bra is a little odd on me.......sahar is nice, just too pricey for me.....

Other than no-name costumes, I mostly have Hanans and Pharaonics. I like Pharaonics because they tend to fit really well, and seem to have pretty good construction - though now that I have experience with one of the heavily sequined designs, I"m going to avoid those in the future (they catch on everything).

My favorite designer is Hanan. The costumes are usually cheaper than Pharaonics, but I find them more original. Seems like they all have different unique fabrics and designs. I for one LOVE the bra style - it may not seem like it is good for large breasts, but if you're not trying to hide them away, they can be quite flattering. I also like the elastic at the back of the bra because it makes it easier to fit. I wish I knew the best place to order Hanans - I got mine in person at a bellydance convention.
