Thread: Ladysilk Designs

Last Sunday, I decided I absolutely had to have a new veil to match a new costume for a performance on Saturday--a whirlwind tour of the internet brought me to Ladysilk Designs, where I found a veil in the perfect colors. I placed the order, saying that I would like the veil for the upcoming weekend but that I would understand if it wasn't possible to get it in time, especially since Monday was a no mail holiday in the US that week. Ahroosh, the proprietress, told me she would do her best. Not only did the veil arrive on Friday, but it is *gorgeous*. It's the Autumn Lights veil on the multi-color page, and it is so warm and vibrant. It has a little more of a crepe type texture than what I am used to but I think that adds to the richness of the colors. It flows beautifully, and both the veil and the new costume received rave reviews at my show on Saturday. So, two big thumbs up for Ladysilk Designs!

She's a great lady and makes fabulous veils, I own several. And yes, she is going to be at Rak West vending, along with her dance troupe Raks Ahroosh who are performing.
