Thread: Ranya Renee's Layali Lafayette

Just got it in the mail, and it is fabulous! I have not watched everything yet (I had to run around the house), so far I am most drawn in by the double cane pieces, which have a twinkle-in-the-eye quality that made me laugh out loud in delight. And, she works with some super musicians.

Managed to watch a bit more - the section with Taksim totally rocks! There is even a seven in this set, which made my day. Woohee!

I just got mine and watched the Modern Oriental choreography... looks like fun and good stuff to work with! I'm gonna go check out the LL dvd now!

Mine came in the mail today. I'm busy sewing/altering costumes tonight, so I'll have to watch it tomorrow!

this is live footage on two dvds by Ranya Renee - one is called Layali Lafayette, the other Live at the Hookah Lounge.
One can choose one of the two dvds to go with her WDNY dvd purchases as a gift if purchased on her website!

She advised me to start with Layali Lafayette for better overall visibility , but I love the dark restaurant performance by night feel :)
I am watching it right now, really nice performances! and not too dark at all :)
I am thinking of getting the other one soon, too (they re about 25$ if purchased separately)

Yep! I've only had a change to view a wee bit of Hookah Lounge (the one I purchased), but so far it's been a rockin' dance DVD, dimly lit and all. :)

Oh, poo. I ordered mine from Amazon. Not fair!. ..cr.:
