Just bought the DVD from Bahaia's Ebay store!

Oh man, I have bought so much in the past week, so I was going to hold off, but after seeing this and reading Rhonda in Indiana's Amazon review, I don't think I have a choice but to get it now!

Hmm, I guess I may as well snag Combo Nation while I'm at it ...

It says Amazon will be shipping the dvd within 1-2 months? Has anyone ordered it and received it from another source yet?
Leyla- I'd highly recommend combo nation as well, on of my favs!

That is the default message for when Amazon sells out. They will be shipping off another round of orders on Friday, so if you order it this week you will have it at the beginning of next week.

Good to know! I've been eying it for so long now and then thought, well why not go for that super saver shipping?

Yes, I received it 10/7. It looks interesting, but I haven't had a chance to see it all. I just briefly looked at each chapter.

Sorry, I recieved mine 10/6 When I orderd mine on Amazon it said the same thing(1-2 months before shipping), but 2 days later they sent me an order update email. Total time for delivery was 6 days.

Man, mine should have come yesterday, but Columbus Day dashed those hopes!

I know! Crossing my fingers for today's mail . . .

I got mine the other day and I love it. I always had a weak spot for Bahaia and her dancing - but getting "inside her head" through her so far 3 instructional DVDs have made me love her even more.

Its a great learning tool for any dancer.

OMG! This is one of the BEST dvd's! Bravo Bahaia! I feel like she is pouring out her heart and soul all of the secrets of dance! I can't tell you how much I've learned from this dvd, as I've watched it three times now! :O)

I just finished watching it and totally love it! It was very organized and easy to follow. She gave you tips and tricks which were very useful. And also some fun combinations. I learned so much stuff...and also stuff I forgot about.

I highly recommend this DVD!! I love the performance and also w/ the commentary.

the commentary is taken from the dvd series Secrets of the Stage. I totally love this series and so hope Michelle will make more!
I wrote an extensive review on Secrets of the Stage 3 here in case you have not come across these dvds and wonder what they are like.

I found them fun, entertaining and so informative. Plus, I like talky dvds I come to realize :)

I've enjoyed working with DVD. The well-explained concepts of moving through space on stage and the sound advice on morphing your "fall-back" steps into variations suitable for performance were, and are, very useful. Bahaia clearly brings a wealth of performance experience to this DVD. While my dance style is very different from hers, the concepts and exercises translated very well. Through explanations and exercises, she emphasizes the very important point of making each movement, or even each stillness count--rather than trying to cram so many different combos and layering into every beat. Her traveling steps were interesting and useful. Overall, her presentation style is very warm and pleasant. While a dancer of any level would get something from Combinography, it seems most useful for those who have the basics down, and want to fine-tune and/or develop their improv and performance skills.

It's great. I love this DVD. A lot of DVDs I watch once and send along, but this one is a total keeper for life. It's so well organized, well broken down without being repetitive, and Bahaia absolutely glows--so gorgeous. I learned some really wonderful things to add to my repertoire. Oh, and I love how well the menu is broken down into chapters. It's so so easy to repeat something, or go back and find something.

Highly, highly recommend.

With all these comments, I just went on filmbaby site and grabbed this DVD, and added 1-2-3 drum solo and combination nation vol. 2 (vol. 1 is already home)... DVD collection's back to expansion phase... Yay!

Isn't that a great feeling, having a big trove of things to study at will? :D

now, the harder part is to find time to study them... not just watch'em once and say, I should practice this one sometime... Have to drill those drills!!!

I'm not familiar with Bahaia, except for her contributions on Bhuz, so I picked up this dvd to see if I liked her teaching style.

An hour after I watched it, I bought the drum solo dvd and the two Combination Nation dvds. (I opted out of the other one because it was billed as beginner, but I may have to rethink that.)

Bahaia is a GREAT instructor, fully comfortable in front of the camera and very organized. Her onscreen personality makes me really want to meet her and study with her. I haven't had a chance to work with this dvd as much as I'd like, so I don't feel comfortable doing a content review yet, but I can see this is one dvd I'm going to spend a lot of time with.

I'd really like to see more from her. I don't have any specific topic ideas, but I'd love to see a Bahaia series :)
