    Little Egypt workshop dvds

I am looking at the Little Egypt worksop dvds and have already ordered the new Randa Miami 2009 dvds. I would also thinking of getting some of Dr Mo Geddawi's worksops. What Little Egypt dvds do you have and which ones would you recommend ?

    Hi Nadirah,
I am interested mostly in the technique dvds which practice short combos and the choreography workshops. I like all classic oriental, modern, baladi and saidi. Which ones do you have and which ones do you recommend ? ?

I'd recommend the Dr. Mo DVDs because I think he is an excellent teacher with some good solid choreographies. He has a good warmup and goes through technique at the beginning of each workshop. If I remember what I have and what he taught, you'll find he teaches saidi, baladi, oriental, melaya/alexandrian . . . of bit of everything.

Oh, Lubna and Aida Nour have some new DVDs coming out from the 2009 Ahlan Cairo Nights, but their earlier ones are good too. Lubna was only in Dallas once before (ummmm 2005???) and I bought those DVDs because I like what she taught so well.

    Hey there,
There aren't THAT many workshops that have strictly technique without an attached choreography. The only ones I can think of off hand are Randa and DIna that have something like that. THough I would highly recommend Dr. Mo since he is a very good instructor as Catherine mentioned and even though he does teach mostly choreography (I think there might be 1-2 technique vids if that) you can pull some of the combos he uses.
As Catherine mentioned before I would recommend Aida and Lubna as well. All of these are Reda born but have great, unique styles.
    Hopefully that helps more!

Thank you both for your recommendations. I definitelly will be getting the new Dr Mo Gedawwi workshops next. And what about Fifi Abdo's workshops, are they worth getting too ?
