How are they to do business with?

I've bought from them several times. They've been really helpful to me through e-mail, ship quickly and offer high-quality merchandise at great prices. (and some moderate-quality merchandise at cheap prices...)

I've never had to do a return or exchange, but I understand they do accept them.

Shahrzad herself is very nice and does her best to offer beautiful costumes in all shapes and sizes at fair prices. Miranda, Shahrzad's assistant, is tremendously helpful and pleasant to deal with. They are normally prompt and efficient in dealing with e-mails and phone inquiries.

They do have only a small staff coping with a high volume of business and sometimes get very busy, particularly when they have a new shipment in and are trying to get it sorted out, measured, and photographed for the website, so be prepared to follow up if you happen to catch them at one of those times. Buying outright is probably a better choice than layaway -- there's less opportunity for error -- but it's great that they offer both options. Their measuring is generally reliable these days. However, it's still a good idea to ask them to double-check sizes and confirm the return policy if you're buying long distance.

All in all they're a great resource, and I'm thrilled to have them in the area. Just keep in mind you're not dealing with L. L. Bean.

Great place to buy costumes. Good prices and quality items. I have done a return and received my money back in a timely manner with no hassle. They also have a store on ebay that's interesting to check out.

I purchased from them recently, ordering an Eman Zaki long distance (I live in South Africa), and praying that it would fit when it arrived. The measurements of the costume on their online store were perfect, the staff were very helpful, the service I received was in all ways excellent and delivery was really fast. I was extremely impressed and would not hesitate to buy from them again.

I find nothing wrong with doing business with them at all. When I didn't get an item on time as promised, I was sent the item priority with no extra charge. I would definitely order from them again.
