Jahbie you're absolutely right. But a lot of vendors prefer Happy Customers and will give a refund if it isn't what the customer wanted or needed.

Personally, I would feel like it's not the supplier's fault that the dvd (or cd or whatever) isn't what I expected it to be, so I'd probably prefer to sell it on, rather than force the supplier to take the hit.

i dont bother about left/right and turning things around. i just use the dancer as a mirror with those kind of dvds/teaching style...it's just me, so it doesnt matter if i do stuff on the right or the left, and for drills i feel it matters even less.

i actually prefer it to following an image in the mirror, but to each their own i guess!

for me it depends on who's the seller - for huge sellers like amazon or "physical" mega sellers I WOULD tell them I am unhappy with the dvd, it was not what I expected. I occasionally did that with the "physical" stores (music albums). I believe amazon is wise and "un-caring" regarding customer satisfaction enough ..l;, to NOT let you return watched dvds.

I must say I also would rather not return a dvd with a rather small scale seller like most of the ones I get bellydance dvds from unless I REALLY hated the product and could not live with having bought it.
IF they give a refund for customer satisfaction like Shaia experienced I think that is amazing customer service though! Care to share the seller Shaia? :)
