This was an interesting review and got my attention (or more of my attention) to the DVD. Sometimes I get slightly irritated because many of Amazon's reviews are super positive and you can sense that the person has just received the brand-new shiny DVD and popped it into the player. One 5 star "review" concentrated mostly on the fact that the instructor was so nice and good at a workshop -- I can believe that but what has it got to do with the DVD... Thanks to Nadira. :)

My pleasure! I feel the same way: I'm more likely to buy a video if the reviewers have mentioned everything I might not like about it. That way, I feel like I'm making an informed decision about what I'm getting and whether it's right for me, rather than taking a risk on something just because some other people liked it.

If Totally Turkish is appropriate for you, though, I can't recommend it enough.
