Thread: Help me spend my money well

Methinks my annual CD-and-DVD-buying binge approaches swiftly. However, I am not going to spend $300 like I did last time (really, I'm not.) Sooo, I need some help deciding about a few CDs I am weighing against each other. I'm limiting myself to one saidi album and am trying to decide between Sahra Saidi by Metkal Kenawe, and Egypt: A Musical Voyage by Upper Egypt Ensemble. Does anyone have both of these? Which do you prefer, and why?

How about Layali Zaman by Sahra Saeeda and Ashraf Zakaria? Are there vocals on it? How would you compare Leila's CDs Helwa and Om al Dunya? Are they really heavily synthesized?
Also Aswan Dances - I heard a clip of one of the songs and loved it, but would like to know how the album is as a whole.

And now the videos...what is/are your favorite Ahlan wa Sahlan video(s)? Are any of them worth it, given the price?
