Hi girls!
Does anyone have Hannan Sultan instructional DVDs?
Are there some trailers?
I've read on her website that she released two new instructional DVDs:
1.Elegant turns and arabesques.
2. Put the belly back in BD.
Also I am interesed in her Combinanition DVD, somebody has it?
Please write me what is best not for beginner :Aembarassed:

Sorry for double-post... But I want to know is there a Combination DVD by Hannan?

You can go to her website. She has both her dvd's for sale there. I love her turns dvd. She gives quite a bit of info on turns and she also incorporates veil, then at the end of the dvd, she teaches you combos. Unfortunately there are no performances at the end but I didn't mind at all. There was another thread that talks about her dvd's but I can't find it right now.

Thank you for your answer! But what kind of combos she is giving? Simple ones or complex, those combos that she is using in her dancing? Is there a practice part with music?

The combos are based on the travel steps learned in the dvd. She goes over the combos about three or four times - depending on the complexity of the combo, but I'd say the dvd is set for a dancer of beginner/intermediate experience. Even if you didn't take any dance classes (other than belly dance), this still would be a great dvd as it would be challenging for the beginner and a refresher for the intermediate/advanced dancer.

I do not have any classical/jazz dance back ground so this was a bit challenging for me - but Hannan explains the moves very well so you can't really get tripped up in the technique.

I've already ordered those 2 new DVDs! Can't wait!

I have one instructional DVD of her... But I have yet to use it, like all my other practise DVD's... Urgh, I wish I was not that lazy :s

Yeah, you won't be disappointed! I really appreciate those workouts, it can contribute a lot! not a regular instructional DVD! Outstanding! Such an interesting combos, inspiring instructor! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!
