Thread: FCBD DVD's for solo practice?

Some of my favourite dancers seemed to have come up under Carolena, and I'm kind of keen to have a look a look and get some idea of the feel of ATS.

I was thinking for solo practice, possibly Vol 1 Dance Fundamentals, Vol 4 Advanced Workshop and Vol 8 Floorwork?
I'm not looking for ATS training, more I'd like to dip in and see what I associate as Tribal Fusion has kind of evolved/borrowed from.

If I'm not doing any group work, is there any benefit to knowing about the cuing and group performing?

Vols 1, 4 and 8 don't really cover cuing at all -I think that's vol 5, I know it has a whole volume to itself. I use 'em to practise solo at home with no problems- none I've found yet anyway!- and it's great to get a bit of prep in before I practise with my group, me being the newbie!

I would get Vol 7 (advanced moves) before Vol 8. I've heard Vol 8 is very difficult. I haven't picked it up yet because shipping is $78 to Asia T_T
