hi, no its not a stupid question. i'm not set up for electronic distribution. that's a whole other animal and i haven't tamed it yet. hopefully in the future, but this first edition is hard copy only. sorry.

Hi Sabrina---what do you mean by "extension"---is this in your body positioning or something else? just trying to get more info for my students.

Hi Taji, Extension in the sense of completing body lines and movements that extend away from the body. Total commitment to a movement in its most full and dynamic form. Does this clarify?

So, I used this last night and I remember feeling like I really WAS starting to relax and feel floaty when the speaker was telling me to relax, then I don't remember *anything* until it was over and I woke up.

So, was I in a state of hypnosis or did I just fall asleep? I did it laying in bed around 10:30pm, so I was starting to feel a bit sleepy anyway. I have several self-hypnosis recordings and this is always what happens. I feel like I'm just falling asleep and missing everything.

This happened to me last night, too! The first night, I didn't fall asleep, but after I was done working with the CD, my boyfriend called and thought I was drunk. LOL. Last night, I dozed off (or something) in the middle and came to toward the end. I'm chalking it up to being sleepy and responding a little TOO well to the soothing voices ,s::

Still, I can be a mega-insomniac, and this CD has been a very nice way to wind down before bed. I have to say, performing felt like it came very easily this afternoon...

Okay, I received mine a few days ago but haven't had any time to check it out. Is that how you're supposed to use it--as a wind-down-before-bed thingy?

It's not really a sleep aid, but that's great if it does help you sleep. Lol.
Really, its most effective to listen when you are awake enough to hear all of the suggestions. I have the same issue of falling asleep if I'm already exhausted when listening. Perhaps try it on a weekend afternoon when you can relax but not actually sleep?
