I just purchased this as the download option. Anyone know how long it takes to download a 60 min mpeg?

Depends very much on your connection.. an average connection gets to approx. 200kB/s on average I'd say, also depending on her upload strength.. should be about 10 MB per min, and depending on the quality of the file you should have to download about 700 MB or maybe more.. if your connection is stable and working on this speed, 1 hour to 1,5 hours should be the time.

That looks like a good program; would you post a review once you've watched it?

I'd like to see a review too. I have Aziza's arms and it's great but am always looking for more more more.

Hi girls! I've got this DVD from Hannan herself and I want to review it ;-) For those who hesitate I can say that this is must-have video!

Maybe all of us familiar with the feeling after you work with the instructional video and it seems to be too easy or to hard...
So if its too easy you feel like you want some more and you have lots of unspent energy and you are not satisfied 100%. Or on a contrary, when you work with a hard one, when you need to layer on layer and simultaneously shimmy and do a camel etc you feel frustration and kind of envy and feeling like you need to practice it for years and no matter what you do you will not be able to do that move ;-(

SO GIRLS, Hannans video is NOT like that!
On this video, you are getting EVERYTHING you ever wanted to know about arms plus great fat burning and beautiful intermediate combos! You will end with a great feeling!
What is fabulous about this video is that it is filmed in a live class.
BUT not that unprofessional style of filming on the masterclasses where you can't hear the instructor and can't see her cause of students crowding around in a narrow class.
On the opposite, on Hannan video you see her very clear and advantage is that you can take a look on her students and compare with your own mistakes...I won't be wrong if I say that lots of us lack a good teacher (for some reasons-you don't have one in your area, the one you have is not explaining etc). Hannan gives you an opportunity to really feel like you are in her class and you start to notice your own mistakes. For example I looked at one of the girls in a class on her video and noticed she has a tension on her face, no smile and not "easy" look... SO I looked at myself on the mirror and I saw that my own facial expression was even more funny and too serious hhhh... Cause ladies, this DVD makes you work hard!

And I respect Hannan even more cause the duration of this video is about an hour and Hannan was explaining and she is in a great shape and she was doing it LIVE, and she was smiling and making funny jokes ;-) I love her!

When I first saw a video of Hannans' dance I thought that I wish I could dance and move arms like her -her arms are flowing and so graceful... Now she gives us all those explanations and exercises to master out our arms, so girls, hurry and buy this DVDs cause its very rare and very helpful!

Hannans explanations are clear, generous, she is a professional 100% and you've got lots of exercises, you've got interesting combos, lots of things you should work on! I am waitng for her next Arms DVD and no matter how much it will cost I definitely will save money for that ;-)))

Her programs are all downloadable. No S&H!

I have her Turns/Arabesques and her Belly DVDs and they are wonderful--real keepers. I look forward to more intermediate/advanced level DVDs from her. Hope she has a bunch in the works!

I know, but I have to have a hard copy. I'm weird that way. I'll have to wait till Jan. I'm sure they are worth it, as they look wonderful!!!

Would anyone care to review the dvd more specifically? I had that kind of emotional reaction to Sandra's II, but specific detail would kinda help. Like she did a 5 min warm up, drilled several snake arm variations, moved onto lotus hands, raindrop arms, the 4 combo section was 20 min. and consisted of such & such ect.

I hear you on the hard copies! I actually struggled to make the decision, b/c I love having something in my hands, but the downloads really spoke to my goal of reducing the amount of things in my home. In the end, my efforts to need less physical space won out. And since part of my problem is that I never resell anything anyway, I figured I may as well DL.

No problem, I'm gonna review it the way you want when I return back home from work ;-)
But really, if you feel like you have to improve your arms its strongly recommended ;-) You can use it like a warm up after you master it a little bit and drill it every day. I can say that it started helping with my claws ;-)
The part with combos is very hard though. Hard to do as beautiful as she does I mean. She teaches you awareness of your arms, she says that yours arms shouldn't look like a spagetti ;-)

oh how cool, i love the online options!! that way you can pay just to test it out (like a regular class), then if you really like it you can pay to either download it or buy a hard copy! must schedule time to check that out, she's got some great options! i kind of wish more people would do it that way

Here is my more detailed review for everyone who's interested ,r:;

10min- posture, warm-up arms stretch, snake arms.
5min--hands roll, finger drill, explanations.
5min-shoulder roll, preparation for arms undulations, good explanations.
10min-1st combo snake arms with turn, arm awareness, posture.
10 min-2nd combo little bit harder first steps then add arms to hip mayas and circle.
15min-3rd combo, the hardest, hands when you are facing back.
5 min-dancing those combos.

I've been practicing bellydance for 4 years and I am not a beginner. But this DVD helps to improve your fluidity no matter how long you've been dancing. It gives you inspiration to continue practicing.

I am sure that everyone will agree that Hannan is a true professional and her dancing is breathtaking. Only this fact (as for me) is one of the reasons to buy her "Arms DVD".
Especially that there are too many "dancers" who learned several movements and demonstrate their under-skilled and talentless videos on youtube and producing "instructional" DVDs despite that they themselves must learn and learn instead of "teaching" ..c::
And my opinion is that the instructional videos should be produced by professionals only. This makes sense to me. ..g.:

I just ordered this dvd and three others (yea, hard copies!) from Hannan and can't wait to work with them!!! Have heard nothing but good about her instructional dvd's.
