We saw the pre-release version at Camparet :) It IS fabulous!!!

I pre ordered mine there... cant wait. I am an unabashed Ranya fangirl. She is the best thing to come along since the shimmy was invented.

Oh yay!!! I am so excited for this one....love Ranya's DVD's! I'm really bummed I missed her at the Camparet in october....

Ohh, want want want! I love her Baladi DVD so much.

I would LOVE a taxim DVD! I am so bumed at the lack of taxim in my performance as well as lack of instruction available if I even wanted to improve it!

Must-have for me! Looks like lots of fun! Also the mermaid costume is great! What I especially like about her DVD is that it is masterclass and also drills and you'll never get bored practicing with Ranya even every day ,r:;

If this is anything like her other dvds... should be awesome! I'm really looking forward to this one. I never had any instruction on taqsim... had to figure it all out myself, so this should be great to work with!

I am SO HAPPY she is coming to our city for a workshop next spring. I really hope I can be prepared enough to suck up as much of her offered knowledge as I possibly can! (Yup, that's me, I'm an info vampire) :Aohmy:

Just got to attend her workshop in Vancouver BC. I can't believe it, but she's better in person than on the DVDs!

She mentioned that she expects to have these shipped for Christmas.

Thanks for your interest on the dvd! It's been an intense process, but very soon we'll have DVDs in our hands!!

I think they will not quite be ready for Xmas delivery because of the manufacturing process, but shortly after. For anyone who is getting the dvd as a gift for a fellow bellydancer, I will send a "stocking-stuffer" card to let the gift recipient know that it has been ordered and is on the way! You have to just let my assistant Raqsie know if you need a "gift card" by sending an e-mail to office@ranya.net, and we'll spread the holiday cheer along. ..g.:

Update on the DVD for the patient masses...

Due to a glitch in our master disc, we have had to remake the first batch of DVDs. The DVD is back in process at the plan, and it should take 2 weeks. (Of course we'll check the discs before sending them out!)

I know I've said it before, but many thanks to you for your patience!

Hi! Has anyone received this yet? I got an email saying that they would be shipped last week (I think), but it hasn't arrived.

The 'cursed' dvd is in the mail. :)

I'm not entirely unconvinced that somehow between New York and my cornfield, there won't be giant hole open up in the earth, which will swallow the mail truck before it gets to me. Or the zombie apocalypse will come or something. Maybe a dinosaur attack, alien invasion, Republican convention...
