Thread: Has anyone tried the Rania Belly Dance Fitness app?

I would purchase an instructional DVD, rip it onto my computer and then load that onto my iPhone/iPod. I don't see the need to download a for-pay an app when there are better alternatives.

Also, as a meta-comment: It is usually a good idea to post a request like this once, instead of in multiple topics. Keep Bhuz neater and less cluttered ;-)

- Sorry about that :) Newbie. But I don't like to 'rip' stuff. I have friends and family in the entertainment business and they get hurt all the time by people who 'rip' a.k.a. steal their work.

Ah, sorry if that could have been misinterpreted, I am not advocating copyright infringement, quite the opposite. If one legally purchases the DVD and keeps in it one's library after copying it onto one's portable device, that is ethically and I believe legally fine (under the digital millenium act, if I recall correctly). Ripping, i.e., copying and converting, is in and by itself is not a questionable activity if one holds the proper license - just think of the use of an iPod for music, which is legally "ripped" from CD to be used on one's iPod. Now, if the resulting files get distributed freely on the internet - that indeed is illegal and unethical, absolutely. Good point!
