Thread: Didem Performance dvd - lookin good!!

I have somewhat turned into a "Didem believer" in 2009 loving most of her performances that year (you can find dozens when you type in "Didem 2009" in youtube). then she disappeared, soon we learned why: it was rumoured she prepared a dvd. since turkish dancers rarely release bellydance dvds, i was not sure whether to believe it (personally, I thought she may have had a baby :)))) ).
Well turns out i was completely wrong, and from the preview I would say her dvd looks great!
am very happy about this especially since i found her recent tv appearances a little lukewarm, not up to her (for me) great 2009 shape/style.

anyways, i noticed ppl posted the entire dvd in youtube bits.. i think it would be really great if this dvd sold well on the bellydance market. so far turkish producers have not seen money in this market to my impression, and perhaps we will be treated to more performance and possibly also instructional dvds if the sales are decent.

The price converts to about 9 euros, i have not checked whether they ship internationally and to what price to be honest (I may just pick it up myself next time I go to Turkey..)

what do you think of what you see in the trailer? I think she's got quite some on stage personality which shines more on this dvd than on her regular tv appearances!

As for how to get one's hands on this DVD: In the US, Tulumba is *the* source for us Turkophiles. They sell a region-coded DVD (non-US) and a region-free VCD, as well as a CD with the music.
