NEW BELLYDANCE DVD release "DRUM SOLO" technique and choreography Level 2
with Yaël ZARCA accompanied by the drummer Amar CHAOUI .

The drum solo is an essential part of oriental dance, a moment in any show always looked forward to by the audience, who expect it to be both entertaining and impressive. A fully-trained dancer has to add aspects of fun and elegance to the power and technique.


This DVD is a level 2 course presenting a full drum solo choreography accompanied by 2 drummers. The choreography is divided into 5 parts which include several combinations. For each combination, you will find :

- an explanation of each technical movement
- a detailed breakdown of the combination followed by a practice
- section including the arm placement
- the full combination

At the end of the programme, Yaël ZARCA performs the choreography in full costume, accompanied by Amar CHAOUI (tabla / darbuka) and Mehdi SAIGHI (duff)

- Presentation of the rhythms used in this drum solo.
- The musicians’ demo

Congratulations on your dvd, it looks very good.

One question; since you are working with live music on the dvd, can I assume that there is no CD or mp3 etc that we can use to perform this dance? Or is the music available to us?

Thanks for your interest!
For the moment, the music is not available on CD (but you could take it from the DVD to train at home).
I'm thinking about asking the drummers to make it in studio. I will let you know.
But don't worry you could train at home with the music of the DVD
