These sound so awesome, but will you make them available for download on Bhuz? That way I can burn them to my own choice of recordable DVD media?

I have two dvds produced by Aziza (Practice Companion and Arms/Poses) and both of them, after about 3 viewings, became pixelated and unwatchable. I tried all the usual cleaning and switching to different players, etc. but I'm convinced it's something in the media they chose to burn these on to.

Twice burned, extra shy, ya know? I've not yet had an issue with downloads. If the disk gets dodgy, I can always burn another one.

Hi Aziyade! The DVDs will be available on Disk only for now, but maybe at a later stage for download as well, who knows.

As for disk printing quality: They will be printed here in Germany, land of thoroughness ;) on silver disks, as the pink ones do tend to give problems over time. This should make them a bit more durable.

Quick update: the DVDs are here!!! :D



Sent off the first pre-sales shipment yesterday (poor post man, lol) and more will follow today. Already 91 DVDs are sold uptill now, and the official release date (15th of August) hasn't even been reached yet.. I'm over the moon!

Here they are, waiting to be sent off to their new homes :yay:

The postal service is wonderfully quick - I had my envelope wait for me when I got home from the studio last night. All shiny and with pretty stickers on the DVDs! Can't wait to get home tonight and take a good look at them!

I got mine last night!


I used the shimmy dvd today and wrote a long account of it! The link will take you to my costume-page note about it. It is LONG.

It will take me longer to get to the isis wings dvd as I do not own isis wings (although...my Princess Banu chiffon cape may fill in while I order a pair).

Are the DVDs PAL or NTSC? I haven't been able to find that information on the website or facebook "notes" page.

I have no idea what either means, but I have the wings' DVD right next to me right now and it has "NTSC" at the back of it. Hope that helps

Yes, that answers my question, thank you.

NTSC is the video format common to North America and Japan, whereas PAL is the format common to most of Europe, and I think Australia too. For a more technical explanation, this link offers an excellent write-up: PAL vs NTSC

Hi there!

The DVDs are indeed NTSC! And region-free :) We decided to use NTSC format instead of PAL as most European DVD players are able to play both PAL and NTSC DVDs anyhow, and many dancers prefer play their DVDs via computer.

Thank you for the question though, as it looks like the format is indeed missing in the web shop, will make sure to add it during the back-from-honeymoon update this weekend!
