Thread: Zahra Zuhair's Magnificent Moves

Does anybody own this?

I have all of her other instructional vids, so I'm wondering how necessary this one is. I looked at the back cover and it doesn't look like there are a lot of movements covered in the vid. Of course I'd love to own it, just because I'm kind of a collector. So I know I'll eventually get it. But as I'm trying to re-build my dancing from the ground up with limited funds, is this one I should rush out and get right now? Basically, is it a must for foundational stuff?

I am curious about this one too. How does it compare to advanced oriental dance class? Anyone?

I have both her videos on vhs, its been a while since I have watched, but I remember both being feeling like you are in class with her, non of the flashy graphics etc...but definitely worth watching. I wish I had more detailed information but I will have to revisit them first.

ooh! I'm also interested in a review... I took a private lesson with her this weekend when I was in LA and loved it!

wow, that was a great preview! Thanks so much for the link - I had no idea about this site - I can see I'll be spending some more time on here.

I love this DVD. It is really excellent. I finally mastered traveling belly pops to the front and back and number of other moves with her breakdowns and drilling. It has a lot of material in it and is for Intermediate/Advanced level. Well worth the money.
