Thread: Custom made costumes

Hello,

I've been creating custom made costumes for couple years now. It started with costuming for myself, then I was creating costumes for the troupe mates for the show we are doing every year and with their encouragement I'm posting some of my creations here to share. If you have always wanted a one of a kind costume but could never find exactly what you want I'll be happy to bring your idea to life.

One of these is for sale.The white lace costume with lots of genuine swarovski crystals also chains and coins.
Will fit size 34/36 C/D cup (cup measurements are 7.5 inches all 3 ways horizontal, vertical and diagonal).
The skirt not stretched upper hip 23.5 inches, stretched 32-33 inches.
Lower hip 26 unstretched, 34-35 inches stretched. The skirt's length is 35 inches.
The costume is almost new, was worn only 3 times.

Just want to say I love my mermaid costume! Loved working with Dilya and she was super responsive (and quick!) in making my crazy idea come to life :) The costume is all sorts of awesomeness and super comfortable to wear as well. Very professional work and detailing, I highly recommend her.

I love these costumes! could you tell me what the costs are like (a range obviously) and how long approximately it takes. Are you in the UK?

Thank you BDanceGirl, I'm happy you like my work. I sent you response via PM. As for the time frame it's very individual. May fluctuate from 3 weeks to 1month. It depends how fast we decide together what exactly you want, pick the fabric, I get the supplies and etc. I try to involve you into a process as much as I can and to get the closest result of what you had in mind. Also depends if I'm currently working on some other projects, but if you have a deadline or special event by which it has to be completed I'm usually able to accommodate that.
