I was reading about one of them on your etsy site, and you stated that you prefer unhemmed to hemmed. So there's a difference in movement in hemmed vs unhemmed ends on veils. Can you expound on that a bit? Is there a significant difference in how the veils act? I'm very interested in that first one above and am trying to decide whether to get you to hem or not.

Re: Sedonia's Siilk Veils and Skirts - Updated Nov 1
Hi Darbla:
I feel there is a little bit more fluttery-ness to an unhemmed veil. The hem adds just a little bit of bulk. Mostly, however, I think the hem is unnecessary. I slide the loose threads carefully out of the torn end until a tiny fringe is left, which keeps further threads from coming out, and its not noticeable at all.
Some people just really feel the veil is not finished without a hem, so that is why I offer it as an option.
Hope this helps!

Hi Lyulyasha: I can make one for you if you are not in a big hurry. I generally dye on the weekends. I can do a 6mm veil for you for $45. Email me if you'd like and describe the shade of red you are looking for and/or attach a pic of a costume to match.

Hi Moondance: Sorry, I overlooked your post! I don't have anything gold/red in stock but I can do one custom in 6mm or 8mm silk (am out of 5mm right now).
I do have a veil that is rich primary red in the center blending to a deep burgundy on either end. The color transition is along the length of the veil. Will try to get a pic of it.

Hi Lucie:
I did get your email -- I was out of town and sent a paypal invoice from my iPhone, which I have not done before, so maybe it didn't go through?
I will resend it now! Sorry for the delay. I only have one custom veil in my queue for the weekend, so I can get you a quick turnaround.
