Maali has attended the Tamalyn Dahlal teacher training course.

Since the age of five, Maali has been classically trained in ballet. Her talent and passion for dance was evident from the start and Maali continued in the dance arts throughout childhood and adulthood. 
When Maali traveled to the middle east in 2001, she discovered the wonderful art of Belly dance. Upon her arrival back from the middle east, Maali started her training with Conchi and Akasha of Cincinnati. She soon became a student of almost every teacher in the Cincinnati area from whom she learned belly dance styles such as Greek, Turkish, Spanish Fusion and Lebanese.Maali draws her inspirations from classic Egyptian dancers such as Tahia Carioca, Suheir Zaki and Samia Gamal- Creating her own unique style that captivates and sets her apart from the ordinary.

Classes now being held on Fridays at Newport on the Levee in Newport, Ky and Sundays and Mondays at Dance-etc in Milford, ohio. View my website for more information!
