We all create movement every day. Developing this movement into an artistic expression is my philosophy. And developing the technique to accomplish that is my mission. This amazing art form allows us ladies to develop a creative outlet to embrace our beautiful femininity while we learn to hone an amazing skill and technique in a dance that celebrates the fun and joy of expression through movement. All of my instruction follows a very structured easy to understand format based on muscle isolation. Layering these isolations is part Bellydance and included in my instruction. Combinations, choreography, finger cymbals, floor work, drum solo isolations and stylization, veil and then putting it all together into sassy + fun combinations or choreography! Welcome to your BellyDance Journey!!!
Excellent for someone brand new who is interested in beginning the lovely art of Belly Dance or the hobbyist dancer wanting to add some spice. This class is an amazing work- out! We focus on the basic concepts of using muscle contractions to generate the foundation of isolated Belly Dance movement. Rachel's artistry brings to the stage a rare and unique element in emotional expression that leaves her audience thirsting for more.
Accompanied by her extremely successful instructional DVD line, Rachel is currently certified in Suhaila Salimpour Level 4.
