Don't get me started about the names dancers choose to call rhythms. On Sunday, 5 mins before we hit the stage the dancer said she wanted Masmoudi Sagir followed by Masmoudi Kebir.

The discussions on Bhuz entered my mind and I thought I had better get her to sing the rhythms to me. Turned out she wanted 2 Doum Masmoudi Kebir followed by 3 Doum Masmoudi Kebir.

I thought about correcting her but somehow I didn't think a 50 year old dance instructor whose been dancing for over 25 years was going to listen to the young punk with the drum.
