Turkish Music vs. Egyptian music
Is it just me, or does a lot of the Turkish music seem to start right off with quick driving beats, and a lot of the Egyptian music seem to start off slowly and then build up?

Do Turkish dancers tend to let the music play for a bit before making their entrance? If not, that may be your reason why right there :-)

*Muwahahaha!* I nearly always lead off with a spin with fast Turkish, it gets me in the mood. I have a lot of soft leading Turkish music though so its not all fast, just depends on what you're listening to. Egyptian music does tend to warm up for about a minute or more, its definately more pronounced.
