    country western fusion

Tee-hee! We love our local Pride celebration. We've performed for the past 5 years and its so fun because we get to bend all the rules and try things that are so wrong they're right. Check out our cowboy belly dance from this year's festival.

Jim Boz, Dondi and Titanya have a great CW fusion number from a few years back.

especially liked the 3/4 shimmy entrance and the hands on hips backward undulations. totally xed over genres with the greatest of ease.

Yes! Reminded me of that too. So cute! I love the color-coordinated cowboy hats and the dude in the audience.

    And...it's in Egyptian Code!? .w.: ..l;,

When I read the title I was like "oooh nooooooooes" but that was really nicely done! I particularly liked the bit where I wasn't sure if you were doing a saiidi horse step on turning on the spot, or whether that was a CW move.

I once saw a wonderful dancer do cane with a hoe wearing a costume made from black and white cow print fabric. She even twirled it which isn't easy with a hoe since they're pretty heavy. (uh...I mean hoe as in a piece of gardening equipment...lol)

I know I'm so immature but that line made me laugh out loud!

It should, it's supposed to be horse-y and country like, even for Egyptians!

Yeah it did, I think that's the best bit of fusion where it's hard to tell which bits belong to which.
