Thread: arabic lyrics (transcribed)

for those of you who sing arabic songs, and me who also does, why don't we collect all the links for the famous songs? and for those of you who dance to them it is worth understanding them.
and acutally, I need help for Warda's Ana lya men gherak as I only understand psrt of the lyrics. if somebody speaks arabic I would appreciate some help, thx! I offer my help in return, I downloaded some lyrics as well.

actually, none of them has ana lya meen gherak. I need the transcruiption from ana albi.....dunya... ie. the second verse. could someone write it down? i sure would miss some words.

It's helpful if you can provide Chris with easy access to the song (I sent him a link to a youtube music video). Just tell him what you need -- he seems happy to help, and his ability to understand Arabic lyrics is sooo much better than mine. I'm a little embarrassed to say this since he's in the same Arabic program at Georgetown that I graduated from! But when I listen to music, I'm always torn between dancing and listening to the words, and dancing usually wins out.

Good news: i am going to have the song translated and at last will put it here so anyone else will find it who is looking for it as much as I am. wait until next week and I will copy it here.
