I'm the only one here who doesn't know this
Okay, I am having a brain fart, I know I posted this question on another thread, but can't find it. Quite simply, What does ATS stand for?
American Tribal__________? (style??).w.:

I have no clue why Bhuz has an "h" in it.

Might be mundane, but it makes us different. And we all know already how different we really are anyway (now don't we). ..l;,

Re: I'm the only one here who doesn't know this
Now we need to have yet another one of those interminable threads about how to pronounce "Bhuz"...
I say B'hoooze - but I know most do say Buzz...

Re: I'm the only one here who doesn't know this
I only know one other person who pronounces it like you do Zorba. She's English. I'm sure there are more out there though ...
I always say "buzz". But with a Northern English accent of course. The Queen would be more likely to say "Bazz" like they almost say "cap" instead of "cup". But then she would definitely give the "h" a little bit of space in there because really posh English people somehow manage to pronounce the "h" in "while", "what", "white" and stuff.
Read something about the queen the other day. Whenever there's a do on at their gaff, if Dancing Queen comes on she always gets up for a boogie. She is quoted as saying "well I like to dance, and I am the Queen after all".
Cool eh? I can just see her.

Haha! The Queen is like the rest of us. I admit I dance whenever I hear that Red Elvises song, or Stop Stop Stop (though I am forbidden by the Belly Police to wear a jewel in my navel), or even (horrors!) Akon's Bellydancer.
We dance what we ARE, ya know...

Re: I'm the only one here who doesn't know this
Have you seen the film / movie with Helen Mirren playing the queen? She does a magnificent job (Mirren that is, although lots of people say the Queen does too. I dunno, not really thought about it much). I pretty much see our Liz as how Helen Mirren portrays her - not easy to wind up, stoic, hard working, a bit fed up with it all really, but a sense of humour and a real sense of humanity, which her parents seemed to have too.
I'd hate it. No Bhuz for a start. Ha but I'd have a really nice hip belt and matching tiara!

Charles seems like a twit.
Sorry. In America, we like to elect our twits.

Re: I'm the only one here who doesn't know this
I have always called it Buzz. I have a friend who pronounces it Booze, which is OK by me except that it makes us all Boozers.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Re: I'm the only one here who doesn't know this
Not a bad thing, booze. But confusing in a context like, "Got a tape measure on you? A bunch of boozers are asking for my measurements." (She swaps a lot.)
