Thread: Dancing with a basket

I'm planning on choreographing a basket dance and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on the best size basket to use and how to weight it.

The size depends on what look you are going for. I danced with a large basket for years and now it is my dependable carry-all that goes with me to almost every dance gig.

You can weight it with sacks of dried beans or rice or if you have one of those fake snakes you can coil him around in the bottom of your basket.

You can shape the bottom of the basket to fit your head by wetting the bottom of the basket and then molding it to you head. You can put a towel between your head and the basket...g.:
