    what did belly dance look like from 1910-1930?

    I know we have youtube clips for dance in the late 1800's and from the 40's (golden era) but what about in between? Is there not one little clip out there?

    The Sheik (1921) and The Son of The Sheik (1926).
    They both have dance scenes.
    Some American dancers as well as at least one part with a group of dancers- possibly Algerian?

    There is a great clip of dancers in the Dietrich film the Garden of Allah: They are dressed in the style of the Oulid Nail and it's very stylised but very evocative. Actually I too would be very interested in any research written or visual let alone moving image from that time!!!!Anyone point me in the direction also.
