    El Kalam Da Kebir translation?

Anyone know what these lyrics mean? Song by Hakim, on "Talakik". Thanks!

There's a transliteration and translation on Shira's site if that's any help:

I think she means the song El Kalam Da Kebir on the Talakik CD. I'd be curious about this too - it was one of my first solos ever.

I picked that song for my first solo too! And I have no clue what it means!

Yes, I mean the song "El Kalam Da Kebir", by Hakim, on the record Talakik. Though it's good to have a translation for "Talakik", as well, thanks!

I've been told the title translates more or less to "big talk." Not sure about the lyrics beyond that -- maybe someone else can fill in, but this might help for now? I like the song too but always feel funny liking a song when I don't really know the words!

I may or may not have this CD at home. I haven't listened to Hakim for a while or gone through some of my CD's. I can't tell you what the lyrics to the song mean since its not ringing a bell at the moment. But I can tell you that the title means "what's all this big talk?"
