Thread: Youtube, Oh great.

Im so overjoyed. Now all of a sudden when I search for 'bellydance' videos, Im bombarded with soft porn videos that pop up because they used 'bellydance' in their tags. Grrrrrr ,m:: ,m::

I saw that too. I wish there were someway to get them removed.

I think some disgruntled boss did that so we can't look for stuff at work. It's too risky now, I would have to explain a lot...

And can you imagine? This explanation of "No, but I swear, the same word is tagged for all these videos" would sound like every bullcrap story our boyfriends, etc. feed us when we catch them with their hands down their pants.

Seriously, why are we being targeted?

And don`t even dare to use the "Arabic dance" tag cause you could be deeply sorry and ashamed.
The problem is that these 2 often come hand in hand.

Hey I'm with you on this one.,m:: ,m:: I get tired of searching through tons and tons of crap just to see one real video... Grrrrrrr,m::

I think vids should be deleted if they have hundreds of irrelevent tags. Im gonna email youtube and complain:

Yes, like there are not enough bad stigmas placed on you by the uneducated around the country, this does not help in the least.

And it doesn't help either when someone tags a perfectly legitimate clip of a dancer like Aziza with a warning that you must be 21 or over to view.

Can't you go through and flag as inappropriate?

I could if I really wanted to waste *my* time. All that would happen is that you'd have to click a button to view it, and it would still show up in the search. (and id rather waste my time here, lol)

I find it helps a little bit to type in "belly dancer" with the R, and that weeds out some of the headless icky clips.

I haven't looked at YouTube in awhile and just saw what you were talking about.

Lotus your tip does the trick, there aren't that many now.
